This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Family Party Rentals LLC (“Company”) and the individual or entity identified on the reservation form (“Customer”). By signing this Agreement or accepting delivery of equipment, Customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Delivery, Setup & Pickup
- Delivery and pickup times are approximate. Our team may arrive as early as 7:00 AM on the rental date. The rental period concludes when our team arrives for equipment pickup, which may be as late as 11:00 PM.
- Customer must be present (or have a designated adult representative on-site) at the time of delivery and pickup.
- Customer is responsible for ensuring the setup area is clear, accessible, and free from hazards including pet waste, sharp objects, and debris.
- Our delivery vehicles include pickup trucks and cargo trailers. Customer must confirm that our vehicles can access the setup location.
- Underground Utilities: Customer is solely responsible for identifying and marking any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or irrigation lines before our arrival. Call 811 or visit call811.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
2. Supervision & Safety Requirements
- Mandatory adult supervision is required at all times while any rented equipment is in use.
- Customer acknowledges that they have received operating instructions and agree to provide a competent adult attendant who understands proper use and safety procedures.
- Customer may choose to supply their own attendant(s) at no additional cost.
- If Customer prefers, Family Party Rentals LLC can provide trained attendant(s) at a rate of $20.00 per hour. This option does not apply to mechanical rides.
3. Setup Surface & Generator Requirements
- Grass: Preferred setup surface. Stakes will be used to anchor equipment.
- Pavement, Indoor, or Gym Surfaces: Sandbags are required for anchoring. A sandbag fee will be assessed and noted on your reservation.
- Power Supply: Inflatable equipment must be set up within 75 feet of a dedicated 120-volt electrical outlet. If no outlet is available, a generator rental is required (does not apply to mechanical rides).
- Customer must disclose any potential setup obstacles including steep driveways, stairs, landscaping, slopes, fencing, or narrow access points.
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit is required at the time of reservation to secure your rental date. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of delivery.
- Payment may be made by credit card, debit card, company check, money order, or cash.
- A $75.00 service fee applies to any returned checks. Customer is responsible for any attorney fees and collection costs incurred if a cash payment is not received upon notification.
- All rental fees are payable in full and in advance. The rental term begins at the event time listed on the reservation form.
5. Care of Rental Equipment
- Customer is responsible for any damage to rental equipment beyond normal wear and tear.
- “Normal wear and tear” refers to the gradual deterioration resulting from ordinary, reasonable use of the equipment.
- Customer shall be liable for the full replacement value of any equipment that is damaged, vandalized, destroyed, or subjected to misuse.
- Prohibited actions include but are not limited to: allowing riders to climb on walls, sides, or roofs of inflatables; using water hoses or sprinklers on or near non-water equipment; placing sharp objects, food, silly string, paint, chemicals, or non-approved items inside or on the equipment; overloading beyond posted capacity limits.
- If inflatables become wet, an adult must wipe down the surface before allowing riders to re-enter.
6. Equipment Capacity Guidelines

Capacities are guidelines. Never exceed the number of participants that can safely use the equipment at one time.
7. Equipment Malfunctions
- If any equipment develops a problem or does not operate correctly, Customer must immediately stop using the equipment and contact Family Party Rentals LLC at 240-725-2188.
- If an inflatable unit begins to deflate, clear all riders and check the following: (1) Confirm the blower motor is plugged in securely; (2) Verify the motor is running and that the air intake screen is not blocked; (3) Inspect air tubes on the rear of the unit for a secure fit and tighten ties if needed.
- If the problem persists after these steps, fully reinflate the unit prior to allowing anyone to resume use. Do not operate defective equipment.
8. Weather Policy
- Family Party Rentals LLC cannot guarantee weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your rental if severe weather is imminent or if conditions pose a safety risk to participants or equipment.
- Severe weather includes but is not limited to: high winds, rain, snow, lightning, and hail.
- In the event of severe weather during your rental, Customer agrees to immediately unplug the inflatable, allow it to deflate, and discontinue use until conditions improve.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 7 business days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
- No refunds or rain checks will be issued after equipment has been delivered, even if the equipment is not used.
- All weather-related cancellations must be communicated by 8:00 AM on the rental date to receive a refund of the deposit.
- If equipment malfunctions or is inoperable, it is the Customer’s responsibility to notify Family Party Rentals LLC immediately. If we are not notified and given the opportunity to correct the issue, no refund will be provided.
10. Possession & Title
- Customer’s right to possession begins upon delivery and ends at the scheduled pickup time or end of the rental period.
- Failure to return equipment or permit pickup at the scheduled time is a material breach of this Agreement.
- If equipment is not returned, Customer is liable for the full replacement value plus any additional daily rental fees and recovery costs.
- Title to all rental equipment remains with Family Party Rentals LLC at all times. Customer shall not sublease, lend, sell, or otherwise transfer the equipment.
11. Compliance with Laws
Customer agrees to use rental equipment only for lawful purposes and in a safe manner. Customer is solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, ordinances, and regulations, including but not limited to obtaining any required permits or licenses.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement, together with the Reservation Form and Waiver of Liability, constitutes the entire agreement between Family Party Rentals LLC and Customer. Any prior agreements, promises, or representations not expressly stated herein are of no force or effect. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS RENTAL AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. I CONFIRM THAT I AM THE CUSTOMER (OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE) AND AM AUTHORIZED TO ACCEPT DELIVERY OF THE EQUIPMENT AND TO SIGN THIS AGREEMENT.
